Evi-Luise Pover, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS, CAADC, CCDP-D

Clinical Director

Evi-Luise Pover, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS, CAADC, CCDP-D, joined Twin Lakes in January of 2024 as the new Clinical Director. With over 22 years of experience in the field, she has dedicated her career to working with resistant and hard-to-treat individuals suffering from severe mental health and substance use disorders. Evi is passionate about increasing access to care for low-income and formerly incarcerated individuals, a commitment that continues to drive her work.

Before joining Twin Lakes, Evi served as the Clinical Director of the Clayton County DUI Accountability Court and a private PHP/IOP in Roswell, GA. She also maintains a role as a Behavioral Health Co-Responder with the Gwinnett County Police Department. Evi’s diverse background includes working as a school-based counselor for a decade in the public school system and contributing to Wellstar Hospital’s inpatient behavioral health and intensive outpatient programs.

At Twin Lakes, Evi strives to create a therapeutic milieu that not only addresses common challenges faced by groups but also honors the unique needs of each individual client. Her approach emphasizes the importance of fostering an environment where clients can heal collectively while still receiving personalized care.

In addition to her clinical work, Evi is committed to mentoring and leading other clinicians, encouraging them to strive for excellence, maintain healthy boundaries, and prioritize self-care. Her own self-care practices include working in dog rescue, both domestically and internationally, as well as enjoying baking, gardening, and the beautiful outdoors in Georgia.
