Evi-Louise Pover, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS, CAADC, CCDP-D

Clinical Director

Evi comes to Twin Lakes after serving as Clinical Director of the Clayton County DUI Accountability Court, as well as a private PHP/IOP in Roswell, GA. She maintains an additional role as a Behavioral Health Co-Responder with the Gwinnett County Police Department. She worked as a school-based counselor for 10 years in the public school system, and she is a past employee of Wellstar Hospital’s inpatient behavioral health and intensive outpatient programs.

In her 22 years in the field, she has focused her work on resistant and hard to treat individuals with severe mental health and substance use disorders. Increasing access to care for low-income and formerly incarcerated individuals is another passion that drives her work. She strives to create a therapeutic milieu that embraces both the group and common problems, while at the same time honoring the individuality and unique needs of each client.

In mentoring and leading other clinicians, Evi emphasizes striving for excellence, the importance of boundaries, and the necessity of self-care. Evi’s own self-care includes working in dog rescue, both domestic and international, as well as baking, gardening, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors here in Georgia.
